Casali Magnis
In the Colli Orientali in Ziracco di Remanzacco, the Casali Magnis farm was born in the 2000s from the founder’s desire to return to his native places.
Today, you can discover a small rural reality, characterized by a simple and familiar environment where you can share the territory’s typical products (particularly wine, cured meats, cheeses, polenta and homemade bread).
There is a lively atmosphere, with improvised musical moments, old vinyl records and jukeboxes.
The underground cellar is evolving: from a hand press it has moved on to modern presses, from fibreglass to stainless steel and wood, from fresh wines to more mature and structured ones.
You can taste Friulano Aitoc, Ribolla Gialla both sparkling and still, as well as Merlot, Cabernet and Nostran, the Refosco of the area. The grapes come from the vineyards owned in Prestento, Montina and Togliano.
Respect for the environment and the genuineness of the product have established themselves in a virtuous crescendo.
Vineyards are treated manually, herbicides and harmful products are banned. In the cellar, processes are minimal, and tradition and rhythms guided by nature prevail.
The cellar has two rooms and a large covered outdoor space suitable to accommodate up to 60 people.
You can easily reach it by car, on foot and by bike, taking advantage of the cycling routes that reach the estate, such as “I vot anei di Remanzas”.
