A cycling route between the Veneto region and Friuli Venezia Giulia. The itinerary runs along the banks of the calm Meschio river.
An itinerary to discover the waters of the Meschio and Livenza rivers. Sacile is a city rich in water and here is the endpoint of this route, which starts in Vittorio Veneto and follows the Meschio river fairly closely via secondary roads and cycle paths. From Vittorio Veneto, you follow the scenic cycling and pedestrian route to San Giacomo di Veglia; from here you pass through Mescolino, Pinidello (where Meschio welcomes its tributary Friga), Codignano and Ponte della Muda, to cross the border with Friuli Venezia Giulia and pass through Vistorta and Topaligo before returning to Sacile. The route can be traveled in both directions.
For those who wish, it is possible to return to Vittorio Veneto or Sacile with the bike+train service changing at Conegliano.
Derived from the technical difficulty and the stamina requirements.
Pay attention on short sections on mixed-use roads.
