A ride to discover the nature and villages of Val Resia, located in the shadow of the Monte Canin massif in the heart of the Julian Prealps Nature Park.
This challenging ride will allow you to discover the natural landscapes and villages of Val Resia. The route starts from the Alpe Adria cycle path section in the locality of Resiutta. The route partially follows the Resia stream, which at Povici creates a small beach to relax a few steps from its refreshing waters. Along the way, you can stop at panoramic points, discover elements of the local cultural heritage, and be surprised by the extraordinary biodiversity of this area. Arriving at the locality Tigo, and after a short stretch on a low-traffic provincial road, you climb towards the villages of San Giorgio and Prato, where the Visitor Center of the Julian Prealps Nature Park is located. For the return, retrace the same stretch. Recommended route with e-bike.
