An epic pedal starting from Tarvisio Boscoverde station heading towards Camporosso, a promising start for an unforgettable cycling adventure. From Valbruna you pedal through the beauty of Val Saisera with the suggestive Prati Oitzinger. From here begins the climb to Monte Lussari, 7 km long and with 900 meters of elevation gain. You can experience several hairpin bends on a road built on an ancient forest path. In the 2023 Giro d'Italia, cyclists faced this challenge in a time trial stage on the only drivable connection to the Sanctuary. Since summer 2023, cyclists can climb the road to Monte Lussari and reach 1770 meters altitude, where the Monte Lussari sanctuary, refreshment points and accommodations are located. The section from Valbruna to Lussari is open from May 31 to September 28, 2025 every day from 9 am to 3 pm, exclusively uphill. Those who stay overnight in the village are allowed to use the climb also from 7 pm to 8 pm. Cyclists are always prohibited from descending which will be allowed only through the paid use of the cable car.
