An epic ride from the Tarvisio Boscoverde station to Camporosso, a promising start to an unforgettable cycling adventure. From Valbruna you pedal into the beauty of Val Saisera with the striking Oitzinger Meadows. From here begins the 7-km-long climb to Mount Lussari with 900 meters of elevation gain. You can experience several hairpin bends on a road built on an old forest path. In the Giro d'Italia 2023, cyclists took on this challenge in a time trial stage on the 'only carriageable link to the Sanctuary. Since summer 2023, cyclists have been able to ride up the road to Mount Lussari and reach the 1770-meter elevation, where the Mount Lussari sanctuary, refreshments and accommodations are located. The section from Valbruna to Lussari is open from May 31 to Sept. 28, 2025 every day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., exclusively uphill. Those staying overnight in the village are also allowed to use the uphill from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Cyclists are always prohibited from descending, which will be allowed through the use of the paid gondola.
