Along the route, it crosses the villages of Maniago, known worldwide for cutlery production, Toppo listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, Gemona del Friuli, a medieval village influenced by Street Art and contemporary architecture, and Cividale del Friuli, a UNESCO site for Lombard art. In this area, you can produce and taste the renowned wines from the DOC areas of Grave, Colli Orientali del Friuli, Isonzo and Collio in the numerous wineries. Nearby the cycleway there are the villages of Polcenigo, Poffabro, Venzone and Gradisca d'Isonzo (Most Beautiful Villages in Italy) which can be reached using other cycle routes departing from the cycleway itself.
