Immerse yourself in the landscape and reach Kranjska Gora, one of the most renowned mountain resorts in Slovenia.
This route starts from Tarvisio, a tourist destination highly appreciated for summer and winter sports, offering incredible landscapes thanks to its unspoiled nature. Here dominates the Tarvisio Forest, the largest in Italy, which embraces three different countries: Austria, Italy and Slovenia.
On the bicycle, you head east towards Fusine In Valromana, among the green woods and the majesty of the Eastern Alps. Then you pedal towards the pass until you reach the border between Italy and Slovenia. The first mountain village you meet after crossing the border is Rateče, where you can stop for a break before reaching Kranjska Gora, one of the most important mountain resorts in Slovenia, a popular tourist sports center.
