Palazzo Locatelli

Palazzo Locatelli, an elegant 18th-century residence in Palladian style, houses the Town Hall, the Town Wine Bar and the Municipal Museum of the Territory.

The building draws its name from the homonymous family from Bergamo that erected it and lived there from the mid eighteenth century.

The importance of the palace and of its first owners is enhanced by the façade, where we can see the family crest that dominates the portal.

Through the entrance hall one reaches the Italian-style garden. From here one accesses the added buildings where the Municipal Museum of the Territory, which displays works by Alfonso Canciani, is located.

Going up the stairs from the entrance hall one reaches the main floor with its remarkable frescoes by artist Antonio Picco from Udine, which date back to the second half of the 19th century.

The intervention on the square by architect Podrecca in the Eighties placed more importance on the palace itself.
