Marina Julia is the ideal destination for kitesurfing enthusiasts, featuring one of the best launch corridors in the mid-northern Adriatic.
The predominant wind is the bora, blowing SIDE-ON, ensuring maximum safety for practitioners. The beach has a shallow and flat water situation towards the west, while towards the east, the seabed drops rapidly, allowing wind sports practitioners to engage in other variants of the thrilling and adrenaline-pumping wind sport. The take-off and landing area is characterized by grass and gravel and is served by a large and convenient parking lot. The launch corridor allows for kitesurfing even during the months when the bathing ordinance is in effect; the area is freely accessible, and all kiters can use it free of charge.
