The city museum, located in the
Captain's House, inside the
San Giusto Castle, hosts a
rich collection of spears, edged weapons and fire arms, both Italian and European, from the 12th to the 19th centuries: armours, swords, daggers, guns, etc.
In the Caprin Hall, on the first floor, you can admire the
Venetian style furnishings, painted in the 16th and 17th centuries and a large canvass which decorates the ceiling by Andrea Celesti, representing the "Triumph of Venice".
Worthy of mention, on the ground floor, is the
Gothic Chapel dedicated to Saint George, with examples of wooden sculptures (century XV-XVII) and on the first floor, the hall dedicated to
20th century mosaics from the San Giusto Cathedral.
