Rivignano Teor

Rivignano Teor is situated near one of the most important forest areas of the Stella river, whose natural Reserve  is a wonderful microcosm, and a real paradise for birdwatching.

Situated a few kilometres from Rivignano the hamlet of Ariis is  a small and  enchanting village ,  where you will find the famous Villa Ottelio - Savorgnan with its 638-hectare park, which comprises the biotope "Risorgive di Zarnicco". The presence of resurgences and of well-oxygenated clear water has allowed the development of trout breeding.

When you are here dont' miss the opportunity to see the small but beautiful acquarium.

Rivignano is also included in the Girogirobici project, which offers cycle tracks in the wonderful natural setting of the Stella river, crossing enchanting parks and various areas acknowledged as a regional biotope due do their unique ecological characteristics.

Not far from Rivignano, is the roman city of Teor. Among the most interesting sites, we would like to mention that of Casali Pedrina  where, after several investigations, a large archaeological complex has been brought to light: it is made up of chronologically distinct evidence pertaining to different functional destinations, first of all that for the manufacture of brick building material and of terracotta products of a certain value, such as sculptures and ante-fixae.
