Fanna

The village of Fanna is situated where it is thought there was once a Roman "Oppidum", its place name derives from the word "fanum", which means holy place or holy wood.

The area shows certain proofs of ancient settlements, going back to the Bronze age and to the Roman and Longobard epoch.
