Casa Asquini

The residence

Casa Asquini is the historic residence of the Asquini Counts. The most ancient complex dates back to the 16th century but it has been expanded and modified in the following centuries. The owners guide the visitor in the ancient residence that has come back to its original splendour after a long and passionate restoration. Visitors can admire the traditional cuisine with its characteristic fogolar, the 18th century rooms and the private chapel, the library and the important family archives, and walk in the wide Romantic-style garden surrounded by high crenellated walls, with the church of Sant'Antonio, the braida and the orchard.

The garden

A garden of about 7500 square metres, created at the end of the 19th century according to the romantic taste then in vogue. It has fine trees, rose bushes and flowering shrubs, a well, a greenhouse, a gazebo, a hill with a church, a braida and an orchard.
The garden can be visited from April to May and from September to October by prior arrangement.
