Discovering Santa Margherita del Gruagno

In the landscape of the Friuli hills stands the Pieve (church) of Santa Margherita del Gruagno, which gives its name to the small hamlet of Moruzzo (UD); this small medieval hamlet preserves part of its ancient foundations in the buildings and surrounding walls. The historic streets are easily accessible and well kept; from here, you can choose to take the path of the 10 thousand steps for health, which develops between the municipalities of Moruzzo, Martignacco and Fagagna. The more sporty can choose the Stringher-Tacoli route, with signs on-site showing the itineraries to follow. For those who want to relax, the hamlet offers various places to enjoy the landscape while sipping a good glass of wine.
