If the Kanalski Kolovrat had already opened to the hiker’s eye the view of the front, this stage offers the possibility to reach one of the peaks of greatest strategic importance for the Italians on the Isonzo front. The summit of Mount Korada, in fact, was a nerve command center until the Twelfth Battle of the Isonzo. Vittorio Emanuele III himself would go there to have an overview of the movements on the front. But this stage also includes other interesting perspectives, including a visit to the church, a pilgrimage destination, Marijino Celje, of medieval origin, and other small churches along the route, ending once again on the banks of the Soča (Isonzo) river.
