From the Bay of Grignano, just below Miramare Castle, to the city of Trieste, the coast is populated with typical "
baths": paved terraces and waterfronts that, from April to October, come alive with the colorful towels of the Triestines basking in the sun!
Each bath has its own history and personality, such as the
Pedocin, the beach divided for men and women that requires a ticket for access, or the
Topolini, the ten terraces named so because from above they resemble the Disney character.

It starts with the ritual of sunbathing whenever there is a spare moment, reaching the coast by bus from the city with flip-flops on feet and towel in hand, and includes participating in clanfe competitions, diving contests where the winner is the one who creates the biggest splash!
