The Thermal baths of Arta

The thermal baths of Arta, nestling in the pure air and forest setting of the Carnic Alps

Located just a few kilometres from Tolmezzo, the largest town in Carnia, Arta Terme is immersed in a peaceful setting with plentiful fresh air, where a modern SPA welcomes you with health packages and many treatments, from thermal water and mud treatments to rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Underlying them all are the beneficial properties of the mineral water emerging from the Pudia spring, known and used since ancient times. This mineral water contains sulphates, calcium, magnesium and sulphur and flows at a temperature of 9 °C; it is particularly beneficial for the prevention of certain diseases.

The Palazzo delle Acque is a wellness oasis where you can immerse yourself in soothing warmth and rediscover the pleasure of taking care of yourself. A spacious wellness area invites you to slow down and unwind, with saunas at different temperatures, a steam bath, sensory showers, a gym and a Kneipp circuit: the perfect place to end a day on the snow with a relaxing après-ski experience or to enjoy a restorative break at any time of year.
Relaxation meets fun in the heated pools, with calm waters and hydromassage jets, while younger guests can enjoy water games, a river feature and a slide in a dedicated pool. The indoor pool is connected to an outdoor pool overlooking the greenery of the garden, where water and nature come together in an atmosphere of genuine well-being.

The Beauty area completes the Arta Thermal Baths experience, turning wellness into a moment of care, relaxation and renewal. Alongside the thermal and wellness areas, it offers a range of beauty and relaxation treatments, including facial and body treatments, beauty rituals and a selection of massages designed to ease tension, restore a sense of lightness and regain balance. A place where you can place yourself in the hands of qualified professionals and be enveloped by soothing gestures, fragrances and sensations that restore energy and vitality. The Beauty experience thus becomes part of a broader wellness journey, where nature, thermal water and personal care come together to offer a truly restorative break.

The Arta Thermal Baths are accessible to people with mobility impairments.
The pools are equipped with a hoist and grab rails along the sides.

The facility’s wellness, beauty, massage and fitness services are once again open to the public.
The healthcare area has reopened to the public, offering the following services: medical consultations by appointment from 7.00 am to 2.00 pm, Monday to Saturday; mud and balneotherapy; mineral water treatments; and inhalation treatments.
