Tarlao Vignis in Aquileia
The Tarlao family has developed a wine philosophy that combines carefully enhancing the typical characteristics of the grapes with the contribution of generations of familiarity with the land and its products. In addition, the family has successfully sought to keep abreast with developments in oenological research.
Grandfather Igino and father Sabino learned the art of cultivation directly in the fields, while Francesco studied oenology and boasts experience in the most prestigious wine-growing areas in the world, including Argentina and the United States, bringing home new knowledge and technologies.
The art that Francesco and his family carry forward every day embraces both the legacy of centuries, but also the value of keen research in the field.
Finally, the life of generations in the vineyards and the cellar, on the land and among the barrels, has accustomed their senses to the colours, smells and flavours of the wines they produce. They feel the wine and the grapes: with sight, smell, touch and taste. This is how they can rely on their senses to make wines.
