From Rifugio Padova you enter the heart of the Monfalconi. Two routes are possible:
the shorter route involves a comfortable ascent to the forcella Scodavacca in a beautiful Dolomite landscape and from there a short descent to Rifugio Giaf, either along the direct path or also following a section of the anello di Bianchi.
The second offers a spectacular crossing of two high passes, the forcella Monfalcon di Forni and the forcella di Las Busas, passing that magical rocky amphitheater where, in total solitude, stands the red metal structure of the Bivacco Marchi-Granzotto. CAI trail 342. Descent via the forcella di Las Busas on a very steep scree in its initial part.
FOURTH STAGE from Rifugio Padova to Rifugio Giaf: 8 km. Ascent elevation gain: 700 m. Estimated hiking time: 4 hours
