At the end of the village of La Maina before the bridge over the Mitreikenpoch stream you descend to the right. You briefly skirt the lake to climb to the Stavoli Schbeintle and Schbont Troiero, once surrounded by meadows, now quickly reforested. A somewhat challenging climb, through a slightly exposed section, leads to Mount Cavallo di Sauris and then flattening out, to the summit of Mount Ruke. Here we find the farm of the same name; we continue by road to arrive shortly on the meadowy plateau, known as Plotze, south of Sauris di Sopra(Plozn), above which the majestic alpine massif of Monte Bivera towers in a south-easterly direction. Three routes back to the lake start from this plateau.
