    From Cimolais (651 m) go up the Val Cimoliana with the carriage road skirting the Cimoliana stream. After 13 km you reach Pian Meluzzo; at the junction for Val Meluzzo, continue on the carriage road to the left until you reach a parking area from where the trail starts, leading in a few minutes (10) to the refuge located between Val Montanaia and Val Meluzzo, on the slopes of Cima Meluzzo.
