10 thousand steps of health FVG - ZOPPOLA

Zoppola, land of castles and springs, offers a circular route suitable for everyone. It starts from one of the vital points of Zoppola and immediately leaves behind the buildings to pass alongside two "young woods", then continues until rejoining the main road and the center. The route, accessible throughout the year, is flat with minimal elevation changes. The start and finish of the circuit are on via Leonardo da Vinci, one of the centers of social and cultural life in Zoppola. After leaving the buildings behind, you cross the provincial road and, after a few hundred meters, the bed of the Fiumetto stream comes into view. Continuing, you cross fields and immerse yourself in the heart of the crops. At the intersection, turning first right and then left, you pass alongside the stream; immediately on the left, you can see two young poplar plantations. Continuing, you reach the main road of Zoppola, but the cycle path allows you to safely continue for about 1.5 km. Before entering the town, at the intersection, keep right and, skirting the cemetery, return to the provincial road that takes you back to the starting point. Shortly before turning right, if you look carefully, you can admire the profile of the Castle of Zoppola.
