10 thousand steps of health FVG - VENZONE

The 3-kilometer Nature Trail runs on asphalt and dirt paths and is within everyone's reach. The entire walk takes place on the slopes of Mount Plauris. It starts from San Leonardo Street and reaches the "Road of the Wall." Continuing on, you pass by the hamlet of Sottomonte and the pedestrian footbridge over the Venzonassa stream, and continue along the "percorso vita," a route immersed in wooded areas. This leads to the plain of Santa Caterina, where the ancient church of the same name is located. Descending along the path, a paved road lined with trees that form a "barrel" vault, one reaches the entrance to Nino Madrassi Park. The final section of the Nature Trail leads from Madrassi Park, to the entrance to the sports field and gymnasium in Venzone, and then ends in the school square. The route is secured by a wide sidewalk.
