The Sun Route is easy and interesting, developing near the villages of Tramonti di Sotto and Tramonti di Mezzo. The starting point is in Tramonti di Sotto at the House of Knowledge. Go down the steps leading to the pine forest near the Meduna Riverbed, continue to the right and reach the Matan sports facilities area. After crossing the SR 552 road, follow the path up the terracing to Tramonti di Mezzo, where you can visit the old village and church. Leaving the village, just past the capitol of St. Anthony, turn right and descend on the path that crosses the ford of the Chiarchia stream and leads to the Bidoli Mill where a stop at the irrigation ditch is possible. Continue on the road for a short distance and then turn left to enter the scrubland of the vast Pradileva meadow plateau partly devoted to cattle breeding. The trail leads near the dam on the Tarcenò stream where you can visit the final part of the stream gorge, upstream of the dam. It then descends to the stream bed and, after crossing it, reaches through the forested area to the double gravel dam. An obvious trail leads toward Mount Celant, from where a path climbs the Tridis terracing to the hamlet of the same name. Here a typical house of great architectural value can be visited. Crossing the plateau, a path descends to the old asphalt road with wide views of Lake Tramonti. Turn right, continuing along the edge of the lake and then alongside the Meduna River for a long stretch. Continue on the SR 552 road north to Chiarandin, where a path on the left descends into the woods. Still following the path, you pass the Tarcenò gravels to camping and picnic areas. Finally, you reach the point where you climb the steps that lead back to the beginning of the trail, in Tramonti di Sotto.
