The Pecolat Trail is a loop trail that is easy and scenic. The hike begins at the Tramonti di Sopra Visitor Center and continues left along the paved road that leads to the Church of Madonna della Salute. From here you take the road that runs alongside the main road, arriving at the Church of San Floriano. You then go down the steps and continue along the paved road. A little further on, a sign invites you to veer left and walk along the cobbled road that passes by the houses of Rutizza. Continuing through a wooded area, you reach the bank of the Meduna where you cross the footbridge. The path continues to the right among pines and firs, then comes out on a plateau to enter the woods again. At this point, for a short distance, it begins to climb slightly in elevation, returning to level ground with slight elevation changes. After crossing a first stream, a few meters later you reach the ruins of Pecolat, a small settlement that came into being as a result of the use of the meadow plains for livestock farming. Following the signs, you reach a second stream, and continuing along the opposite bank you come to a water source. From here, making a small detour to the right, you can admire a beautiful pool of crystal-clear water set among rocky boulders. Back on the trail, continue along the path that winds through the forest, and then past the Vendelata stream, you will reach the walls of the mule track that leads to the Borgata di Pradis. From here you descend along the paved road, arriving at the picnic area that runs along the Meduna riverbed. A few meters after the last hairpin bend, on the left, passing through a gate, the path climbs up into the woods, and having crossed the meadowy plateau of Borgo Titol, turn left following the asphalt road that reaches the locality Sottrivea. At the first hairpin bend, you take a track to the left, which goes back to the Cresò route. You then return to the village and close the loop by returning to the Visitor Center.
