The trail runs within the Torre and Malina Park and provides an opportunity to learn about the area bordering the Malina Creek embankment. It crosses stable meadows, groves and embankments.
The "Troi des Canaiis" finds its departure and arrival from Cibert Park, a large area located on the left side of the Udine-Cividale highway, starts in a wooded environment, climbs north along the right bank of the Malina creek and then opens into a natural and cultivated environment. On the way back, it crosses the equipped area called "La Busate," a former degraded area later reclaimed by the municipal administration. The area is bordered by tall trees and equipped with tables and benches. The context in which the trail develops is that of the water civilization, which from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages saw productive settlements such as mills and factories driven by hydraulic power spring up around the streams and irrigation ditches. With short detours, the following can be visited along the course of the Roggia Cividina: the Cainero Mill (via Marconi, the best preserved) and the Mulino di Sopra, while in Casali Battiferro di Sopra a mallet was in operation. The route offers interesting places to visit. In Remanzacco the altarpiece by Giovanni Martini located in the chapel of the parish church of St. John the Baptist and the Astronomical Observatory. In Ziracco you will find the church of Santa Maria Assunta, the loggia or Casa della vicinia, Casali Bergum (fortress house from the late Roman period) and the 18th-century Villa Della Torre Valsassina.
