Saisera Beisner track
Val Saisera (Saisera Valley) offers over 15 km of snow-covered trails, clearly marked and well trodden amongst the woods and the clearings, that you may experience on foot, with snowshoes, fat bikes or by taking a stroll with your dog. They are easy paths with no steep slopes, perfect for families and to introduce the beauty of this unblemished nature to children.

Track description
The trail takes you along a plain across from the residential area of Valbruna, between fields and woods. The departure point is the “Fiorini” grocery shop. This is a trail that provides peacefulness with the pleasure of being only a stone’s throw away from the town and surrounded by major mountains. Ideal for morning trips in the sunshine, but also in the afternoon when you can experience the stillness in the woods before it gets dark. It is also perfect for combining the walk with a guided visit to Fort Beisner, opera4*, a fascinating military pillbox completely built into a rock face and invisible from the outside.
It is only possible to walk the trail with snowshoes when there is fresh snow, as the trails are usually groomed and prepared.
