How to get there:
Once you have passed the village of Fusine, turn right towards the lakes, into the heart of the Tarvisio Forest.
Follow the CAI 512 signposted trail from the upper lake, which is level at first and then begins to rise sharply. It leads to the mountain hut in roughly 1.5 hours.
