Val Saisera, located above the village of Valbruna, is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Tarvisio region. As the undisputed queen of cross-country skiing in Valcanale, this valley offers the opportunity to ski through its enchanting forest to the foot of one of the most stunning mountain ranges in the Alpine region, all framed by breathtaking scenery. There are two available tracks: the "
Bassa Saisera" and the "Alta Saisera," which, in favorable conditions with heavy snowfall, can combine into a single thrilling circuit.

How to get there
From the highway: Take the exit at the Ugovizza highway toll booth and follow the signs to VALBRUNA and then VAL SAISERA.
From the main road: After the town of Ugovizza (heading towards Tarvisio), turn left and follow the signs to VALBRUNA and then VAL SAISERA. Near the Austro-Hungarian Cemetery, the "Bassa Saisera" track begins. Continuing through the valley and near Trattoria Jôf di Montasio, the "Alta Saisera" track starts.
