Canyoning Ciafurle

In the Ciafurle canyon, which begins and ends right in the heart of Claut, we enjoy a unique adventure: we explore natural slides, waterfalls and crystal clear pools step by step.

The route is accessible and perfect even for those who are experiencing canyoning for the first time. Together, we learn how to abseil and try out the basic techniques of canyoning under the careful guidance of a canyoning instructor, who leads an introductory briefing and an in-depth theory session. Thus, as protagonists, we tackle each step safely and enthusiastically.

The activity lasts about 2.5 hours: 15 minutes to get there, about 2 hours in the canyon and another 15 minutes to get changed.
The elevation difference is 100 metres along a 600-metre route, with 7 descents - the highest reaching 18 metres.
At Ciafurle, we don't just descend a canyon: we learn, collaborate, build trust and create
shared memories.

Equipment provided:
•Sandiline neoprene wetsuit for canyoning (6.5mm)
•Sandiline neoprene boots (3/5mm)
•KONG certified canyoning harness
•KONG certified lanyards/carabiners/descenders
•KONG certified canyoning helmet

To ensure a comfortable and safe experience, we recommend  you  to bring the following items:
• Hiking boots or trainers suitable for wet conditions, preferably high-top for better protection.
• Swimwear to wear under your clothing.
• A towel to dry yourself off after the activity.
• A complete change of clothes, including underwear, so you can change comfortably after the outing.
• Synthetic shirt and shorts, which dry quickly and offer comfort during the activity.

The activity takes place in the village of Claut in the Ciafurle gorge.
However, the meeting point is always at our headquarters in Cellino di Sopra 2- Claut, so that we can provide all the equipment, based on the physical characteristics of the participants.
The distance between the headquarters and the activity location is less than 10 minutes by car.
