Since 2008, Gravità Zero has been an amateur sports club that manages a leading climbing gym in Trieste.
It features a bouldering room with 240 square metres of climbing surface and inclines ranging from -4° to +40°, constantly marked out with boulders of varying difficulty, and a training room equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The gym is the only facility in Friuli Venezia Giulia to offer both the Moonboard and the Kilter Board, which are ideal panels for specific, high-intensity training. The facility is equipped with a heating and cooling system, which guarantees optimal conditions throughout the year.
There are also two teaching rooms where climbing courses are held for all ages and all levels of difficulty. The courses are structured and taught by qualified FASI instructors and a second-level FASI coach. The preparation and experience of the instructors makes Gravità Zero the only facility in Trieste with a competitive team that participates in regional youth and senior competitions and qualifies many athletes each year for the Italian Youth Championships, the Italian Senior Cups and the Italian Senior Championships.
In addition to group courses, Gravità Zero offers individual lessons, either single or in packages, with programmes tailored to the needs of individual participants.
FASI membership is required to participate in Gravità Zero activities. Users can register directly at the gym by presenting a medical certificate for non-competitive sports activities. No certificate or membership is required for the first promotional visit.
