In the hamlet of Trinco (Municipality of Drenchia), you can visit a small museum-rural house. The former elementary school of this hamlet hosts a collection of objects and tools pertaining to local rural life, dating from the end of the nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth century.
It is an anthropological-ethnographic exhibition that offers an insight on life in the Natisone Valleys, a unique linguistic-cultural area in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Those who are interested in the Great War can find traces of that event here too, such as memorabilia and pictures. Trinco in fact is located at the foothills of Mt. Kolovrat, where the second and third Italian defensive lines used to be, now part of an interesting open-air Museum of the Great War.
