In Friuli, I have founded an art residency, Art Aia-Creatives / In / Residence, located in the countryside near the Comune of Sesto Al Reghena. It is a place that offers space to focus on the creative process within a natural setting where international artists can develop their practices concerning ideas of ecology and sustainability. I want to raise audience consciousness about topics like global warming and climate change. In 2020, Art Aia - Creatives / In / Residence became a partner of Google Arts & Culture, a non-profit platform that features content from over 2000 leading museums and archives. I was able to promote some of the activities of the art center to a global audience. Thanks to Alan Morassut and Fabio Pappalettera, I have also created an online exhibition about some of the most amazing natural attractions of the Region, including the Tagliamento river, the karst spring of Vinchiaruzzo, and torrent Leale, to name a few.
I love this land, the land of my ancestors, and I believe more people should know about its history and beauty.
There is something magical and real that is special, and we need to preserve it.
I love to talk about Friuli to an international crowd. It makes me feel excited. I hope that my contribution to this project will reach as many people as possible throughout the world. Friuli Venezia Giulia is a land to discover, a beautiful place to explore for its landscapes, from mountains like the stunning Dolomites, lakes, vineyards to the Adriatic coastline. I believe people visiting from abroad could appreciate its unique variety.
In these short videos, you can see more about my project and discover International artists Beatrice Lopez (DK) and Kelly Leonard (AUS) visiting San Vito al Tagliamento during the ATE- Residency in Sustainable practice.
I am an actor and I consider my craft an art form. I love beauty and nature. I love when things are real like my home region Friuli Venezia Giulia where I have founded an art residency to promote art and culture at an international level.
