Azienda Agricola Zahar

We are located at the south-eastern edge of Trieste, bordering the beautiful Val Rosandra Nature Reserve, on the slopes of the Karst plateau as it descends towards the valley. Here, the soil is already composed of marl and sandstone. The vineyards and olive groves extend across gentle terraces, ranging from approximately 60 to 150 metres above sea level.

The estate covers approximately 3.5 hectares dedicated to vineyards and olive groves, where predominantly indigenous varieties are cultivated. Wine and extra virgin olive oil have been produced here for several generations. Since 2020, both products have been organically certified.
