Duke's Beach is located in Lignano Riviera, in Lungomare Riccardo Riva; the access is in 110 Corso delle Nazioni; follow the mouth of the Tagliamento river for 200 metres. Otherwise you can use the access from beach establishment n° 6, next to the entrance to the Pino Mare Camping village.
It’s a private, dog-friendly beach establishment.
- Guests wishing to visit the beach with their dog will find 90 well-spaced out seating areas with a beach umbrella, 2 lounge chairs with sun cover, exclusive dog bed, bowl, and leash (free on loan). For more privacy and relax there are also 10 exclusive, fenced.
- Special Dog Areas, Standard (5mx5m) or XL (6mx6m), where dogs can be off leash and their owners can spend their day in total relax.
- Dogs can swim at the front of the dedicated area, with their owner, without time limits; after the bath in the sea use the special showers which are available to rinse off your pet.
- There is an Agility Dog area for guests, where dogs can run and play freely. In this area, once a week, a qualified instructor from ENCI (the Italian Kennel Club) hosts a free dog training class.
- A self-service Dog Wash station is also available to wash your dog, with hot water, shampoo, and a hairdryer.
- There is also a specialised corner shop with everything for our furry friends, from food to accessories to toys.
- Inside the beach establishment there are private men/women/disabled restrooms and a café/restaurant overlooking the sea, 50 metres away.

During the summer there are a number of events, such as:
- Information Days organised in collaboration with sponsors, where expert veterinarians are available to provide information on dog nutrition and answer questions. Discount coupons and practical, useful summer/leisure gadgets will be available for everyone in attendance.
- Dog shows and galas with prizes such as Friendliest Dog, “Like Dog Like Owner”, Best Puppy, and Best in Show! Many prizes and gadgets for everyone, including 2-legged attendees.
- On August 15 (Ferragosto), like every year, it awaits you a selection of the Season’s Best (2- and 4-legged), with crowns, rosettes, prizes and gadgets.
- A veterinary service (in collaboration with the town of Bibione) is available 24/7, thanks to the “Mi Fido di Te ONLUS” volunteers, an association which aims to help animals and people in need with ad-hoc services.
Beach service (cleaning, security and every other service provided for by the law) is performed by specialised staff.
The beach is regularly cleaned and sanitised with a special machine several times a week.
To access the beach, dogs must be vaccinated and microchipped or tattooed. Anti-rabies vaccination is not compulsory, but pursuant to Ministerial Order no. 68 of 23/03/2009, the owner must always carry the vaccination certificate (or a photocopy of it, and/or evidence of the dog’s microchip number and that they’ve had all the vaccinations prescribed by the law – a photo on your mobile phone is also ok) and have a muzzle, which will not be used on the beach unless absolutely necessary.
