Riding your bike it will be a pleasure to pedal along this route embracing mountain and sea.
Starting from Visogliano to reach Sistiana, a place well known for its bay that attracts sea lovers in summer. After passing Borgo San Mauro continue towards Aurisina, a place known for the "Karst marble", that is for its stone. Near the Ivo Gruden middle school you enter the Salvia path. From here you pedal towards Trieste among shrubs of juniper and sumac, a very robust plant characterizing the Karst territory. The route then winds through vineyards, while in the distance you can see Miramare Castle in all its splendor. From Grignano you reach Trieste passing through Barcola, a place very loved by the people of Trieste and tourists for its seafront walks. An engaging itinerary where the mountain kisses the sea, where the culture and traditions of the Karst blend with the elegance of the city of Trieste.
