The itinerary plans to reach Most Na Soči by train and then start cycling in the direction of Nova Gorica-Gorizia. Most Na Soči lies on a lake created by the confluence of the Idrijca and Soča rivers and features an important archaeological site. Proceed south and cross Kanal ob Soči with the medieval Kontrada Square where the Gothic House and the Kolarjeva hiša house stand. From here you ride along the bike path along Soča to the new panoramic bike bridge over the Soča in Solkan, not far from the Transalpine station. From here you continue the discovery of the river in Italy: on the Straccis bridge there is a beautiful view of the river. We pass through the village of Farra d'Isonzo with the small lake of Farra, a naturalistic point for birdlife, and Gradisca d'Isonso (Borghi più Belli d'Italia) with its palaces and city parks. After crossing the bridge over the Soča River at Sagrado, one pedals along the Soča River and can admire the small Slovenian villages until returning to the Transalpina station along the old state border, now part of the city's bicycle network.
