In the Isonzo plain, not far from Cormons, the Girangoris begins, a charming cycling loop immersed in nature and history.
"Girangoris" is a ride in the Isonzo plain inside the Tenuta Angoris estate. This loop allows you to immerse yourself in a landscape where nature is the absolute protagonist, among avenues of cypress, beech and centuries-old fir trees, creating an ideal environment for a bike ride. The starting point is Villa Locatelli, a historic manor from 1648, from which you cross, riding your bike, a route with good dirt roads. Plains, gentle climbs and descents accompany the route which boasts a dream panorama and includes the Collio, the Eastern Hills and the Alps chain. During the ride, it is possible to make stops near the numerous signs that tell the history and characteristics of the territory. The loop ends at Villa Locatelli and can be traveled during opening hours. It is advisable to check the Estate website.
The route is suitable for families with children from 6 years old and up.

You can reach the "Tenuta Angoris" from the Cormons Station.
Cormons is served by frequent regional trains with bike transport.
In summer, the BiciBus service is available, a bus towing a closed trailer for 40 bicycles:
from Cormons to Grado with stops in Gorizia, Gradisca d'Isonzo, Redipuglia and Monfalcone
From Udine or Gorizia - SR56. In Cormons follow signs for Borgnano/Tenuta Angoris.
