This route covers part of the first stage of the Alpe Adria bike path (FVG1). From the center of Tarvisio, pedal along the Val Canale towards Malborghetto, where the Fella river is born and flows undisturbed, among villages and fragrant green meadows, embraced by the imposing surrounding mountains. Continue towards Pontebba, the final stage of this route, where you can stop and refresh in one of the local establishments. From Pontebba it is possible to return to Tarvisio by train. This service is very frequent on Sundays, while during the week the route is served by one train in the morning and two in the afternoon.
