This route is ideal for families with children aged 10 and up. Get on your bike and pedal from Maniago to Travesio accompanied by the colorful wings of paragliders.
Maniago is the starting point for this itinerary crossing the countryside of Pedemontana Pordenonese. After leaving behind the city of artisans who have been forging swords and knives for millennia, you pass through Fratta, Fanna and Cavasso Nuovo, until crossing the Meduna river thanks to the Maraldi Bridge. Once you reach Meduno, the backdrop accompanying the excursion might take your breath away: the location is very popular with paragliders who color the sky with their colorful wings and accompany the cyclists on their ride.
You continue towards Sottomonte until reaching Toppo, one of Italy's most beautiful villages, where its castle stands. The end point of this trip, ideal for those wanting to discover the ancient villages of the area, is Travesio.
To return to Maniago, follow the same route.
