San Daniele del Friuli is an ideal place for bike rides among the hills and castles with stops at various tasting points of the renowned raw ham.
Route
The cycle touring route develops among the hills, suitable for families with children 10 years and older who are well trained. It starts from San Daniele del Friuli and cycles towards Comerzo, crossing the Tagliamento River. It follows the FVG6 cycle path between Cornino and Pinzano, where the river is crossed again on a spectacular bridge. Then it climbs towards Monte di Ragogna up to San Giacomo, reaching the village of Pignano di Sopra. A detour to Lake Ragogna is recommended, perfect for a picnic.
