The route connects Gemona, with its medieval historic center, to Venzone, a 14th-century fortified village and one of Italy’s most beautiful villages. Follow the Alpe Adria bike path to Venzone, cross the Tagliamento River, and descend toward Bordano, known for its butterfly murals and the Butterfly House, which is open to visitors in the summer. Return to Gemona via Braulins, crossing the river once more.
