The LETS Museum presents Trieste’s twentieth-century and contemporary literature through an exhibition route divided into six sections: the Edicola della Storia, the Libreria degli Scrittori, the Cinematografo delle Storie, the Svevo Museum, the Joyce Museum, and the Saba Museum.
Born from the merger of the Svevo and Joyce Museums, LETS broadens its scope to include the entire literary production of Trieste in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The Edicola della Storia introduces the city’s historical background, essential to understanding its literature. The Libreria degli Scrittori, the heart of the museum, presents authors connected to Trieste—including contemporary writers—through books, worktables, and photographic portraits.
The Cinematografo delle Storie features short videos inspired by literary works, while the sections dedicated to Svevo, Joyce, and Saba explore key figures of European literature, combining biography, works, and narrative experimentation.
