The ascent to Mount Joanaz is a classic and easily accessible route from the Friulian foothills. Its fame derives mainly from the panorama that can be enjoyed from the summit meadows of the rise, which sweeps from the Adriatic Sea to the Alpine arc. Particularly striking (and possible because of the simplicity of the itinerary) is the hike at sunset, which gives very intense colors and emotions from this point.
