The route allows you to reach from the village of Montemaggiore of Taipana the ancient Roman bridge in the woods of Montemaggiore/Brezje, a hamlet of Taipana, once again fully accessible and safe. The ancient structure characterizes the area within a particularly valuable natural context: it is made of stone and located downstream from the village of Montemaggiore, towards the springs of the Rio Bianco. It represents a part of the mule track that connects the village to the locality of Sdregnobardo/Srenjo Bardo, where Montemaggiore residents used to take their cattle in summer to the mountain pastures.

The path also intersects the Celestial Path which passes through this part of the Friulian Slavia.

The mule track descends towards the ford of the Rio Lemagna and the ford of the Rio Bianco, then climbs to the locality of Tanacertegna (ruins), descends along the forestry road to the third ford of the Rio Bianco. Continuing, it reaches the confluence of the Rio Bianco and Rio Nero which forms the Natisone River.

The forestry road continues through a deciduous forest reaching Ponte Vittorio Emanuele, Casali Gasperini (ruins), up to the village of Prossenicco.
