From Pian de Cea, 914 m, we descend to the concrete ford that closes the Grave da Giere.
At this point, there are two options: to follow the Grave on the right or the left side. In any case, given the variability of the environment - which changes appearance after every rainy season - it is advisable to choose one of the two banks and, staying on the gravel, follow that one. In any case, there are no cairns or stable markers.
When we see, on the left, the pylon of a meteorological monitoring point, we begin to turn left to climb onto the low “bank,” where we find the trace of an old carriage road. We thus arrive at the base of Casera Podestine (1024 m, reachable in a few steps), a well-restored and partially open structure.
For the return, follow the same route back.
