After leaving the car at Pian de Cea, we go down to the ford crossing the Grave da Giere. After crossing the ford, we go up along the dirt road on the right and, at the first fork, continue to the left. We follow the tree-lined road and exit the woods at the fork for Landre Scur. Going straight ahead, we reach Casera Casavento (947 m) in a few minutes.
We save the hut for the return and continue towards the dinosaur footprints site. Before turning towards Casera Casavento, in fact, we see a sign in front of us indicating the direction to the Dinosaur Footprints: we follow the dirt road to the large information panel and arrive at the crossing of the Ciol de Ciasavent, which must be crossed by stepping on the rocks. To our right, a beautiful waterfall. Beyond the stream, there is another information panel from which you can see the large inclined rock on which the two footprints are imprinted.
