Simple circular route that leads to the discovery of the Grotta-Chiesa di San Giovanni d'Antro, embedded in the rock, as a gem of the Valli del Natisone.
Circular trail leading from Biacis, a hamlet of Pulfero, to the Grotta-Chiesa di San Giovanni d’Antro: a very attractive route, rich in historical evidence and geological peculiarities.
Along the route, you reach suggestive panoramic points, easily accessible both to experienced hikers and to those interested in understanding the geological process that led to the formation of these landscapes, or simply to those curious about these beauties who want to enjoy them for tourism purposes.
There are three rest points along the route: two in the first stretch up to San Giovanni and one between San Giovanni and Biacis with a stone bench and a ground surface with mulch.
The starting and arrival point is in the Biacis area where the Castello di Ahrensperg, (Eagle Castle) is located, where it is also possible to park your car.
A visit inside the Grotta-Chiesa San Giovanni d'Antro is not to be missed. For info and opening hours visit the website www.grottadantro.it
