A route that leads you inside splendid bucolic environments of mid-mountains.

Having reached the wide grassy plateau in the locality of Cjasal it is possible to park the vehicle at the edge of the woods and set off along a comfortable paved road, reaching the rural cluster of stavoli di Luvieis. The view opens on Col Gentile and extends over the surrounding woods up to the conca di Pani.

A steady climb leads through meadows and woods to the locality Paradis, the highest point of the route.

Starting the descent on a road with low vehicular traffic, you reach Valdie with its small church. Numerous hay barns accompany you towards Monte Sorantri, along a wide path. Near the summit there is a magnificent panoramic point over the Carnic hills and the remains of a Roman settlement.

Descend to the Mulignon waterfall along a mule track passing near some hay barns.

Returned to the stavoli di Luvieis the loop ends.

    Directions

You can reach the starting point by following the S.R. 355 of the Val Degano from Villa Santina towards Ovaro. Follow the signs on the left for the village of Muina (cross the Degano river on a small bridge), and once in the village center, take the road to the left (signs for loc. Cercenat) entering the hamlet. The road climbs through the woods and after two hairpin bends pay attention to turn right just before the village of Cercenat, there are signs for Valdie - Pani. Climb along the only road passing the hamlet of "Stavoli di Mont" and after a short descent in the woods you exit into the large meadow where it is possible to park on the left.

    Parking

Small clearing on the left, at the beginning of the large meadow in the locality of Cjasal.
