Tiziana, do you want to come and try Parasailing? And so I had the wonderful opportunity to take a look at my beloved sea, that of Lignano Sabbiadoro, from an unusual point of view; a sea I that has been with me since I was one year old, and everyone has a sea in their ??heart.
In all these years, I have seen how the town has evolved, the always new and interesting tourist attractions: Lignano is clean, tidy, quiet and at the same time dance, wine glasses, old and new friends who meet, dinners, boat excursions... but the sight of all this from 150 m in the air was something I had not yet enjoyed.
The appointment was set for 11 am at the Pagoda of Lignano Pineta; I have a home in Lignano Sabbiadoro and so I hopped on my bicycle and with a pleasant pedal along the waterfront and the cycle path that passes through the pine forest through the area of summer camps, I arrived at the launch point, where the parasailing operators welcomed me.
They dress us with a safety jacket and off we go... aboard with me are fathers and children who want to try out the thrill of flying and see the magical place of their holiday from another point of view. With us too is the couple of captains of the boat: beautiful, sunny, charming and absolutely professional; they prepare us with the harness, reassure us, and off with the first launch! I’ll be the last to go as I am on my own with my camera.
Very quickly, I gain altitude and photograph as best I can (it’s not so easy), I feel like a flesh-and-blood drone: I see everything: the mouth of the Tagliamento river and, beyond, the coast of the Veneto; the lagoon, behind this long strip of land full of buildings, looks like Miami from above; I see the Sea Terrace, the Pineta spas, a sea with Caribbean shades, golden sand, Flying above all this splendour, maybe I also see my mother with her nose pointing up waiting for me to come back... but mothers be aware that it is absolutely safe and in no way dangerous: give yourselves a flight with your children; I’m trying to convince mine and that’s why maybe I’ll be back tomorrow as well.
