FVG3d - Vineyard variant (C3V1)

The route is very scenic as it winds through the harmonious hills between Tarcento and Cormons. The path crosses the historic center of Cividale del Friuli, a UNESCO site, an ideal place to take a refreshing break in one of its welcoming squares; crossing the famous Devil's Bridge you can admire the crystal-clear waters of the Natisone River. Along the route, you encounter small rural villages where viticulture is essential to the local economy. The hills accompany the cyclist along the entire route, surrounded by Friulian villas and country chapels. Wine lovers can stop for tastings at the various wineries in the area, while the more gourmand cyclist will surely be surprised by the culinary specialties offered by local taverns, farmhouses, and traditional restaurants.
